Art connects us with places, memories, and traditions that matter. At South Texas Fine Art, my work explores those connections through Texas landscapes, Western history, wildlife, flowers, faith, and Mexican American heritage.
I’m pleased to announce a new affiliation with Pictorem that expands how you can bring this artwork into your life. Our new online gallery offers additional possibilities for larger prints, different materials, framing, and specialty art products.

An expansion that complements our Etsy shop
The purpose of this new gallery is to complement the art services already provided by the SouthTexasFineArt Etsy shop.
Etsy continues to offer a convenient way to purchase my artwork through listings with selected sizes, materials, and framing combinations. Many customers appreciate choosing from these carefully prepared options.
The Pictorem gallery adds flexibility for buyers who want to explore a larger size, a different printing surface, or additional finishing choices. Together, the two shops provide more ways to find an art print that suits your preferences.
You are welcome to shop through either location. If you are unsure which offers the best options for the piece you have in mind, please email me for assistance.
More possibilities for larger artwork
One of the most exciting benefits of this affiliation is access to larger print formats and custom sizing options.
A sweeping ranch landscape, a historic steam locomotive, or a Western horseman can take on a different presence when displayed as a substantial statement piece. Larger formats also create opportunities for artwork in offices, gathering spaces, and rooms where a smaller print might feel lost.
Available dimensions depend on the artwork’s proportions, the selected material, and the framing or mounting choices. The options shown for each piece are the best starting point. If you have a particular size in mind, I welcome your questions.
Fine art paper prints and framing choices
For those who enjoy the detail and traditional presentation of a paper print, Pictorem offers giclée fine art printing and framing possibilities.
Its fine art matte paper is described as archival and acid-free, with a smooth surface suited to detailed art reproduction. Paper prints can be especially appealing for botanical illustrations, historical maps, and artwork that rewards close viewing. You can explore the fine art paper options and choose from the framing selections available for your order.
Canvas prints with additional finishing options
Canvas offers a textured surface that I particularly enjoy for colorful landscapes, wildlife, and Western scenes. Pictorem’s canvas choices include rolled or stretched canvas, different profiles, and optional floating frames.
Depending on the product, finishes may include matte, semi-gloss, or a textured varnish. These choices affect the surface appearance of the reproduction. A textured finish adds a treatment to the print; it does not make the reproduction an original hand-painted work.
A floating frame creates a narrow space around the canvas, giving it a finished presentation while keeping the canvas edges visually distinct. Explore the available canvas and finishing options when selecting your piece.
Wood, metal, and acrylic prints
The expanded material choices also offer different ways to experience the same image.
Wood printing can allow the natural grain to show through lighter areas of an artwork. Metal options include brushed surfaces and other finishes, while acrylic offers both glossy and non-glare possibilities.
These materials each interact differently with the image and surrounding light. A print on wood may have a different character from the same artwork on matte paper or acrylic. Selecting a material becomes another part of choosing how you want to enjoy the piece.
Pictorem also offers broader possibilities such as multi-panel presentations, wall murals, and specialty shapes. Availability and suitability vary, so please ask if you have a project in mind that is not shown in the gallery. You can read more about the company’s printing formats.
Art clocks and specialty gifts
This affiliation also opens possibilities for art that serves an everyday purpose.
Pictorem produces printed acrylic wall clocks, combining an image with a working clock mechanism. A suitable artwork can become a distinctive gift or a personal addition to a room.
Specialty products require attention to composition: the image needs to work with the product’s shape and functional elements. If you are interested in an art clock or another specialty format featuring my work, email me so we can explore the available choices.
Understanding the Pictorem ordering process
If you are accustomed to shopping through my Etsy listings, the Pictorem process may feel different at first.
In my Etsy shop, several decisions are already brought together in the listing. A framed print, for example, may offer a prepared combination of print material, size, and frame color.
Pictorem allows more of these details to be selected separately. Completing your art order may therefore involve several steps, with some finishing or framing choices appearing after you add the artwork to your cart.
Depending on the product, you may need to:
- Choose your artwork and print material. Select the piece you love and an available surface, such as paper, canvas, metal, wood, or acrylic.
- Select the size. Review the dimensions and any preview provided.
- Choose the finish or mounting. For canvas, this may include the stretched-canvas option and the available surface finishes.
- Select framing. Where offered, choose the frame or moulding, including its material, style, and color.
- Review the complete order. Confirm that the size, finish, mounting, and frame match what you intended, and check the total before payment.
For example, purchasing a canvas with a black floating frame may involve selecting stretched canvas first and adding the black frame or moulding in the cart. Choosing canvas alone does not necessarily include the frame.
These additional steps provide more control over the finished piece. You do not need to work through unfamiliar choices without help.
